Ingredients

  • 1/2 medium cabbage (shredded)
  • 15 g (1 tbsp) salt
  • 300 g (2 cups) diced celery
  • 1 green bell pepper (diced)
  • 1 medium onion (diced)
  • 2 carrots (shredded)
  • 200 g (1 cup) sugar
  • 200 ml (1 cup) vinegar
  • 5 g (1 tsp) mustard seed

Preparation

  1. Mix cabbage and salt and refrigerate for 2 hours. In saucepan, put sugar, vinegar, and mustard seed; bring to a boil until sugar dissolved. Let cool.
  2. Mix vegetables with cabbage and pour cooled vinegar syrup overall and mix well. Refrigerate about 2 days or more in covered container. Serve cold
