Korean Style Bulgogi Beef with Sweet Soy Marinade

Ingredients
- 500 g (1.1 lb) Beef sirloin steak (Thinly sliced)
- 1 Ripe pear (grated)
- 2 cloves Garlic (crushed)
- 10 g (2 tsp) Fresh ginger (grated)
- 60 ml (4 Tbsp) Spring onion (finely chopped)
- 5 g (1 tsp) Black pepper
- 30 ml (2 Tbsp) Soy sauce
- 1 pinch salt
- 12 ml (2 ½ tsp) Sesame oil
- 10 g (2 tsp) Toasted sesame seeds
- 20 g (4 tsp) Honey
- 10 g (2 tsp) Brown sugar
- 60 ml (4 Tbsp) Japanese sake
Preparation
- Slice the beef thinly with a sharp knife. Put all the ingredients together in a bowl add the sliced beef mix well. Leave to marinate for 2 hours
- Cook over a Korean BBQ. Serve on top of cold iceberg lettuce
